Pedagogical Contents

2.1.  Teaching Methods

The teacher uses a variety of learning methods. Adapted to the topic or subject of each teacher. But basically, most teachers still use lecture methods or presentations with power point slides. Especially for Science subject teachers, based on the instructions of the K-12 Curriculum, in addition to the lecture method should also use the inquiry method or discovery learning. The method can be packaged in the form of giving projects or discussions for students to be able to associate abstract science material in daily life.



2.2.  Learning Materials and Innovation

Most of the teachers use books. At the initial meeting, the teachers directs students to be able to have the same book as the hurry handbook, through the Book Fair. To make it easier when giving assignments and student learning activities at home. The teachers also use ppt slides or learning videos related to the topic so that they can explain the topic interestingly. For mid-semester exams, the teachers provide handouts to students containing a summary of the material to make it easier for students to learn.

2.3.  Sources of Learning and Technology

Learning materials are supported by the availability of adequate technology. There are LCD projector and audio speaker in each class. When teaching, some teachers use loudspeakers called Lapel to maximize learning process.



2.4.  Authentic Assessment

The students from Grades 1 to 12 are graded on Written Work, Performance Tasks, and Quarterly Assessment every quarter. Written Work, Performance Tasks, and Quarterly Assessment every quarter are given specific percentage weights that vary according to the nature of the learning area.
